Doctor in Regional Economics from the Socioeconomic Research Center of the Autonomous University of Coahuila – graduated with honorable mention – (the postgraduate degree recognized by the National Quality Postgraduate Program – PNPC México). He is a full-time research professor at the Faculty of Economics of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua and a member of the National System of Researchers. His lines of research are technological change, the digital divide and those phenomena that are subscribed within the regional and urban economy. He has been a visiting professor at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León and the Autonomous University of Coahuila (Mexico). In addition, he has collaborated in research projects, curricular reforms and consulting projects for the private sector.
