Professor and researcher at the Forest Engineering School of the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. He has a PhD in Wood Science and Technology from the Bio-Bio University. He is currently coordinating the Forestry Sciences master’s program at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. He has focused his professional career in the research against wood rotting pathogens and biodeterioration. In this process, he has studied prevention and enhancement techniques to achieve a better wood resistance.
