Master’s in Business Administration by ESAG (Center for Socioeconomic and Administrative Sciences) of the Santa Catarina State University (UDESC), and specializations in Training of Trainers in Responsibility Corporate Social by the University of Buenos Aires; in Business Management by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and Quality and Productivity Management by UNA – MG. He was executive of the Riograndense Airway (VARIG) from 1989-1996, and commercial representative for Vale do Itajaí, Santa Catarina State, from 1996-2006. He was creator and owner of the themed restaurant Inconfidência Mineira (Balneário Camboriú, SC, Brazil, 1998-2002). Nowadays, he is a teacher and researcher/leader of a research group at the University of Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI), research line: Management and Sustainable Entrepreneurship. He won for two consecutive years the Competition of Scientific Articles for Teachers from Desafio Sebrae, in the 2015 and 2016 editions, with the themes “Entrepreneurial, Business and Entrepreneurship Education: are we talking about the same thing?” and “Education for the Entrepreneurship as a driver for innovation and economic and social development in MERCOSUR countries”.
