PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, and a B.A. in Psychology. Furthermore, she is a researcher at Conicet. Barreiro has attended a post-doctoral program in Social and Human Sciences at the School of Philosophy and Literature of UBA and is currently a lecturer and researcher at UNIPE. Her work has been compiled in the following books: La construcción del conocimiento histórico. Enseñanza, narración e identidades (2010), Desarrollo cognitivo y educación II. Procesos del conocimiento y contenidos específicos (2012), Representaciones sociales y prácticas en la psicogénesis del conocimiento social (2014) and Prácticas pedagógicas y políticas educativas.
