Graduated in Nursing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Master and PhD in Nursing by the Graduate Program in Nursing (PPGENF) of UFRGS. She is an adjunct professor of the Nursing Department of the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA). She teaches undergraduate courses in nursing and physiotherapy and in the integrated multiprofessional residency in health (Remis), as well as in the professional master's degree program (ppgent) of UFCSPA.
