Degree in Sociology; PhD in Social Sciences from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and investigator for the CONICET. Since 2002 she researches for the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación (CCC) Floreal Gorini. In 2014 she published Saber de la pobreza (Knowing about poverty) and in 2016 she published the compilation Estilos de desarrollo y buen vivir (Styles of development and well being).
