Andrea Matallana

Bachelor’s degree in Sociology; Master’s degree in Social Research from the Universidad de Buenos Aires); and PhD in History from the Torcuato Di Tella University. She is a professor at the Department of History of the Torcuato Di Tella University at the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center (UBA). Her field of research are cultural industries and Argentina’s social history at the end of the 19th century and in the 20th century. She was awarded a scholarship by the Argentinean Arts Fund (1997), FONCyT (1999, 2003) and the Fulbright Commission in MIAS, New York University (2012). She has published several books, chapters, and papers in books and reviews in Argentina and abroad.
