Araceli Mancilla Zayas
(Estado de México, 1964) Writer and editor. Degree in Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Ciudad de México; postgraduate degree in Cultura Contemporánea from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid-Fundación Ortega y Gasset. She’s the author of several books of poetry: Armar las palabras (Desde la sombra), Al centro de la ínsula, A luz más cierta, Instantes de la llama, La mujer del umbral, among others; and is included in various national and foreign anthologies. She has collaborated for the Laberinto supplement of the newspaper Milenio, Ciclo Literario and the magazines Comején and Avispero. She has been cultural manager, editor and editorial coordinator of the art and culture newspaper Ciclo Literario (www.cicloliterario.com.mx). She has edited bilingual literary works in native languages, published by the Instituto de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca and other publishers.
