His research topics are developed in the field of money sociology and financial practices. Author of the books The Moral Power of Money. Morality and Economy in the life of urban poor (Standford University Press, 2017) and Suspicions of money. Morals and economics in popular life (Paidós, 2013), and co-editor of El laberinto de las finanzas. New social studies of the economy (Byblos, 2015). He is currently working on a book about the uses and meanings of the dollar in Argentine society.
