Colombian artist and professor of Fine Arts at the Universidad de los Andes. Professor Honoris Causa in Fine Arts at Universidad de Antioquia and winner of the Vida y Obra Award granted by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia. She has held individual and collective exhibitions from 1964 to 2009; her work is presented at the modern art museums of Bogotá, Medellín, Caracas, La Habana, Houston, New York and London; she was a curator, researcher, and member of the Banco de la República Comitee of Fine Arts and curator of art and history at the Museo Nacional de Colombia.
