Born in Chiapas coast, graduated as a teacher from the Normal Superior of Chiapas. She has been a teacher, advisor, principal, and project coordinator. Daughter of farmers who has reconnected to the land in the Chiapas Highlands. The school gardens certificate program increased her awareness of the importance of the earth, conscientious eating, and the recovery of ancestral farming knowledge. She use her deep experience as an educator to design garden-based activities to generate young peoples’ interest.
