Carlos Skliar

He is a writer, an educator, and main researcher of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and of the Education Department of FLACSO. He has published poetry books HIlos después [Threads After] (Buenos Aires, 2007), Voz apenas [Almost a Voice] (Buenos Aires, 2009), and Este no es un libro de poemas [This is not a poetry book] (Río de Janeiro, 2011); books of aphorism, micro-narrative and greguerias: No tienen prisa las palabras [Words Are In No Hurry] (Barcelona, 2012), and Hablar con desconocidos [Talking to Strangers] (Barcelona, 2014). Among the las essay books we find: Lo dicho, lo escrito, lo ignorado [Said, Written, Ignored] (Buenos Aires, 2012), Desobedecer el lenguaje [Disobeying Language] (Buenos Aires, 2015), Pedagogías de las diferencias [Pedagogies of the Differences] (Buenos Aires, 2017), y Escribir, tan solos [Writing So Lonely] (Madrid, 2017).
He co-coordinates, together with Violeta Serrano García, the international postgraduate course “Writing, Human Creativity and Communication” (FLACSO, Argentina), and is part of the current board of trustees of PEN (poets essayists novelists) Argentina.
