PhD in Political and Social Sciences and Master in Communication from the Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales of the UNAM. Currently, she´s a professor and resercher at Universidad La Salle CdMX. She´s part of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, category SNI 1. She was a scriptwriter, director, announcer and producer for the Sistema Michoacano de Radio y Televisión, Radio Michoacán and a sports reporter for the Diario Provincia. Her lines of research are gender and sports journalism, digital gender violence, women and socio-digital technologies, and media self-regulation with a gender perspective.
