Daisy Leite Turrer
Bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Visual Arts from Fundação Mineira de Arte Aleijadinho (1980); Master’s degree in Brazilian Literature from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2000) and PhD in Comparative Literature from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2005). Adjunct Professor of the Department of Engraving at the School of Beaux Arts – UFMG Plastic Arts. Coordinator of the NECI (Center of the Culture of Press Studies). She currently coordinates in the NECI two sub-projects: Printed Archeology: the construction of the Book in the Rare Works Collection of the Library of Caraça and GRAMMA. She has participated in several exhibitions and national and international Engraving Biennials.
