Daniel Noemi

Cultural critic and chronicler, he writes about Latin American literature, cinema, cities, politics, travel and food in various magazines and blogs. He is the author of Leer la pobreza en América Latina: Literatura y velocidad (Cuarto Propio, 2nd edition 2011); Revoluciones que no fueron: ¿Arte o política? (Cuarto Propio, 2013); and eight chapters of La nueva narrativa de España, Portugal y América Latina en 1970-2010, which will be published in Finnish in 2017. He studied Letters from the Universidad Católica de Chile, an MA in Latin American Literature from the same university and a Doctorate in Latin American Literature from Yale University. He contributes to El Desconcierto in Chile, La Patria in Manizales, Colombia and Tierra a la vista, in Boston.
