Forest Engineer from the Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero, Argentina. Master’s degree of Science in Plant Physiology from the Universidad Federal de Viçosa, Brazil. PhD in Forest Sciences (UNSE.) He has 20 years of experience in the study of the physiologic answers from plants exposed to water and saline stress and has directed many research projects which had the participation of scientists from Argentina, Brazil, and Spain. He has published book chapters and many papers in national and international magazines. He has dictated postgraduate courses and delivered conferences about saline stress physiology in Argentina and abroad. He has worked as a peer viewer of international magazines such as; Journal of Arid Environments, Environmental and Experimental Botany, Tree Physiology, among others.
