Diego Escolar: PhD in Anthropology by the UBA. He has researched indigenous identities and histories (Huarpe and Mapuche) and their relationship with the State, about borders and the Argentine National Gendarmerie. Independent researcher of CONICET and a tenured professor at the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo). He carried out postdoctoral studies, research and teaching stays at the universities of California, Berkeley, Paris Sorbonne Nouvelle, Rennes and Cauca, among others. His main work is the book "The ethnic gifts of the Nation. Huarpe identities and modes of production of sovereignty in Argentina".
