Eduardo Romano

Literary critic, professor and author of poems such as 18 poemas (1961) and Puro biógrafo y otras impertinencias (2013). He has a degree in Literature from Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he has served as director of the Institute of Argentine Literature since the end of 2014. His first critical text was "¿Qué es eso de una generación del 40?" (1966). Since then, he has published a large number of articles in the media and specialized journals. Among his books, we can mention Análisis de Don Segundo Sombra (1967), Voces e imágenes en la ciudad. Aproximaciones a nuestra cultura popular urbana (1993) and Haroldo Conti, alias Mascaró, alias la vida (2008). He also wrote most of the chapters of the collective volume Intelectuales, escritores e industria cultural en la Argentina (1898-1933), published in 2012.
