Degree in Letters from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1966), a Master’s degree from the Université de Besançon (1973) and a PhD from the Université de Besançon (1981). She has experience in Literature, with emphasis on Literary Theory, working mainly in the following subjects: Aleijadinho, Barroco Mineiro, Brazilian Literature, Paratext semiotics and Cláudio Manuel da Costa. Associate Professor at the University of Poitiers, France (1990-91).
