PhD in Social Anthropology from the Brunel University, United Kingdom. He collaborated as researcher in the Popular Cultures Directorate, National Indigenist Institute, The South Border College. He collaborates at the Center of Research and Higher Studies on Social Anthropology (CIESAS by its initials in Spanish). He has done research on symbolic anthropology and indigenous cosmogonies, medical anthropology and cross-cultural psychiatry.
