Graduated in Philosophy from the University of Salvador, Argentina; Graduated in Theology and Sociology from Universidad Católica de Lovaina, Belgium; he was Dean of San Ignacio El Bosque School. He is currently Dean of Alberto Hurtado University and director of the magazine Mensaje. He was a teacher at the Universidad Católica de Chile (1972-82) and head of Compañía de Jesús in Chile (1978-84). He is the author of Las preguntas de Jesús y preguntas del Evangelio, Editorial Tiberíades, 2002; co-author of Palabras a tiempo, Editions Universidad Católica, 2003; author of Compartiendo mi fe, Alberto Hurtado University Editions, 2013. Several of his articles, speeches and reflections have been published by Latin American magazines
