He practices psychoanalysis in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Member of the École lacanienne de psychanalyse. Doctor in Psychology and Education, with an emphasis on Psychoanalytic Research, from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. He has published thirty articles in psychoanalysis journals, indexed research journals, written and electronic press, chapters of collective books, in addition to the book México, río revuelto. Del crimen de Estado al Estado del crimen, Editorial La casa del mago, Mexico, 2018. For three decades he has been conducting seminars on various issues of psychoanalysis. He coordinated the blog “Psychoanalysis: subjective life in times of war”, on the portal for peace in Mexico “Nuestra Aparente Rendición” (http://nuestraaparenterendicion.com/). Since the beginning of the so-called "War against organized crime" he has studied the subjective dimension of violence, in particular the type of specific loss that forced disappearance implies.
