Francisco Gálvez

Graphic designer IPEVE of the Universidad Diego Portales and self-taught type designer. Teacher of typography of School of Design UC and member of the Group of Typographic Studies and Design of Information (DET). Author of the book Typographic Education, an introduction to typography, published in Chile in 2004 and in Argentina, 2005. He is also a member of the design team of the Public Transport User Information System, Transantiago. Among its sources are Australis, winner of the 2002 Gold Prize Morisawa Awards, Tokyo, Japan, and typographic families for the newspapers La Discusión de Chillán (2008) and La Tercera (2007-2008), in collaboration with Rodrigo Ramírez.
