He was born in Oxhuc. Degree in Primary Education. Master in Cultural Studies, from the Autonomous University of Chiapas. Teacher and Doctor of Teaching. He is currently studying for a doctorate. He has been a professor at the National Pedagogical University and the Secretary of Public Education. He has published several articles on Mayan mathematics and on good living, hermeneutics and Tzeltal philosophy. Committed to his community, he has also excelled in studying and promoting their culture. He was recently awarded an award in the 14th National Contest: The narrations of indigenous children.
