Professor at the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG) and at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG). He holds a bachelor's degree in Social Communication from Centro Universitário Moura Lacerda and in Sociology from Universidade Paulista (Unip). He completed a master's degree in Sociology and a PhD in Social Sciences from The State University of São Paulo (Unesp), where he held a postdoctoral position. Leads a research project on Crisis, Neo-developmentalism and Social Rights, registered within the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
