Gabriel Carrizo is a lecturer at both the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco, Comodoro Rivadavia campus, and the National University of Southern Patagonia, Caleta Olivia campus. He is a CONICET adjunct researcher based at the Centro de Investigación y Transferencia Golfo San Jorge (Research and Transference Center San Jorge Gulf). He is co-director of the Socio-Historical Studies on Democracy Network (RESHIDE). He coordinates research projects on the political history of Patagonia, topic which had been the subject matter for books and articles published in specialized journals.
