Doctor in Latin American Literature from the University of California, San Diego. She currently develops as Chair of the Language Department at Lebanon Valley College, Pennsylvania, where she also teaches Spanish and Latin American Culture and Literature. She is a member of the advisory team of the Society for Irish Latin American Studies (SILAS), an academic institution specialized in the study of relationships between Ireland and the countries of the Latin American continent. Her research field focuses on the study of European immigration to Latin America since the middle of the 19th century.
