The author has a bachelor’s degree
in Plastic Arts from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), a professorship in painting from the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredon, a master’s degree in Sociology of Culture (IDAES-UNSAM) and a Doctorate in History of Art (UBA).
She has done independent curatorial and research work and has worked in experimental video and animation. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions of visual arts. She was awarded the grand prize of National Salon of New Supports (2006), as well as the research prize of the Argentine Association of Art Critics (AACA) for the book of Juan Battle Planas, A Persistent Image (2007). In 2019 she received two awards: the support of the Patronage program and the contest Publish Your Thesis, from the National Ministry of Culture, for her Master’s thesis, which gave rise to this book.
