PhD in Sociology from the University of York (England). Professor and researcher at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. Leader of the academic body of studies on culture and daily life. He has published articles in national and foreign journals. He is a Level I member of the National System of Researchers, founding member of the Network of Researchers of Religious Phenomenona (Rifrem); founder and coordinator of the Latin American Postgraduate Network in Studies on culture. He is author and editor of several books.
