PhD in Education from the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and Master’s degree in Philosophy from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Author of the novel Ruedas Dentadas (2003) and the academic books: Alteridad y Pertenencia: lectura ecocrítica de María y La Vorágine (2009, together with Ronald Bermúdez); Paranoia: emociones públicas y universidad (2016, with Sebastián González); and Cibercultura, capitalismo cognitivo y educación (2015, academic editor with Rocío Rueda and Ana Ramírez). Winner of the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence in 2016, for the article: Towards a Non-Trivializing Education, published in the journal Kyberentes.
