PhD in Latin American Studies from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a degree in Política y Gestión Social from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, unidad Xochimilco. She has participated in several international investigations about public policies and alternative projects on climate change and water in Latin America, particularly Mexico, Argentina and Ecuador. Currently, she´s a full-time professor-researcher in the Departamento de Política y Cultura of the UAM-X and chairs the Editorial Committee of the same Department.
