Master’s degree from the University of Birmingham, England and PhD from the University of Oregon in the USA. He has been head of the Engineering and Construction Management Department at the UC and Director of the Engineering and Road Research Center of DICTUC (Directorate of Scientific and Technological Research). He has more than 180 publications in national and international journals and conferences. He has taught international courses and assisted engineering projects as a consultant in several countries.
