Biologist. Master’s degree in Education and a PhD in Clinical Medicine / Bioethics. He is Head of the Bioethics Service at Hospital of Clinics in Porto Alegre (HCPA), Coordinator of the Research Ethics Committee (CEP), and Clinical Bioethics Committee at the same hospital. Adjunct Professor at the School of Medicine of PUCRS and the Graduate Program in Medical Sciences, UFRGS.
