PhD in Humanities from the Universidad del Valle (Cali); Postdoctorate in Philosophy at the University Paris 8 Vincennes; Bachelor and Master’s degree in Philosophy from Universidad del Valle; Lawyer and specialist in Criminal Law and Criminology of the Free University of Colombia (Cali). He has served as a defender and promoter of human rights in indigenous communities in the Department of Valle del Cauca, and Director of Human Rights of the Personería of Santiago de Cali. He has published in specialized journals of philosophy and law.
