Juan Carlos Rivera Quintana

He has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Havana and has completed a Master’s degree in Communication Planning and Management from the University of La Plata, Argentina. He has published books of journalistic chronicles, poetry and historiographic essays. He has also collaborated with a narrative publisher. Among his works are: Alquimia de Fantasmas, (Culturales Hierbabuena, Buenos Aires 1997, poetry); Prestamista de valores (Ed. Olalla, Spain, 1998, poetry) ); Cuentos de La Habana Vieja (Ed. Olalla and second edition Ed. Del Bronce, Spain, 1998,1999); Perverso Ojo Cubano (Ed. Bohemia, Buenos Aires, 2001, anthology of Cuban stories); Breve Historia de Carlomagno y el sacro imperio romano germánico (Ed. Nowtilus, Spain, 2008, historiographical essay); Breve Historia de Fidel Castro (Ed. Nowtilus, Spain, 2009, historiographical essay). He currently works as a journalist, editor and stenographer of the Public Communication office, of the Presidency of the Argentine Nation, since 2001, and as a professor at the South American Institute for Communication Teaching.
