Juan Martín Vives
Lawyer (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba), university professor on Law (Universidad Adventista del Plata), master of Corporate Law (Universidad Austral) and doctor of Global Public Law (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona). Postdoctoral scholarship recipient, Center for Constitutional Comparative Law and Religion (Lucerne University). He has held several academic management positions at the Universidad Adventista del Plata, where he was formerly the director of the Department of Legal Affairs.
He is a graduate and postgraduate professor; he has written numerous articles and book chapters, and is an habitual lecturer on matters pertaining to law and religion, religious liberty, and Church-State relations, with special reference to religious minorities. Since 2015, he is director of the Center for Law and Religious Studies (https://www. cedyr.org/en) and chief editor of the Derecho, Estado y Religión (Law, State and Religion) journal. He has recently appeared as amicus curiae before the Argentine National Supreme Court of Justice.
