Julia D’Onofrio has a PhD in Literature from the University of Buenos Aires; she is associate researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (Conicet), and works at the Institute of Hispanic Philology and Literatures “Dr. Amado Alonso ”from the University of Buenos Aires. She specializes in Spanish Golden Age literature with special interest in emblematic and other symbolic discourses of the period; her doctoral thesis was dedicated to the exemplary novels of cervantes, the author on which her works are centered.
