Assistant Professor in Art History at the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts from the State University of Paraná (EMBAP/UNESPAR), Brazil. Bachelor’s degree in Arts Education (1999) and Master’s degree in History (2003). Both programs were pursued at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Brazil, where Perigo also received a PhD in History (2008). For her doctoral thesis, she studied aspects related to establishment of the modern artistic environment in the state of Paraná, focusing on the field of visual arts. Associate member of the History, Theory and Art Criticism Committee of the Associação Nacional dos Pesquisadores em Artes Plásticas (ANPAP), the Brazilian National Association of Plastic Arts Researchers.
