PhD in Social Sciences by the Universidad de Guadalajara. Currently is the Rector of CU Costa Sur. She is author of the books: “La antigua Autlán de la Grana” (UNED, 1983), “A mortal summer. Social and Demographic analysis of a cholera epidemic: Guadalajara 1833” (UNED, 1986) and “The Real Hospital of San Miguel de Belen, 1581 – 1802” (UDG, 1992).
