Lorena Soto Pinto, PhD in Science from UNAM, is a senior researcher at El Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR) in the academic group Agroecology. She has developed research projects on community agroforestry, agroforestry and traditional systems, coffee and biodiversity, climate change and wood-saving stoves. It belongs to the Mexican Academy of Sciences, to the Technical Council of the Thematic Network of Agroforestry Systems of Mexico and to the National System of Researchers (SNI), level II.
