Bachelor’s and teaching degree in History from the University of São Paulo, USP (1979 and 1980); Master’s degree in Education: History and Philosophy of Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1989); PhD in Education: Philosophy and History of Education from the State University of Campinas, Unicamp (1995); Postdoctoral internship in History of Education at the Institute of Education, University of Lisbon (2005). Researcher, professor and advisor in the Graduate Program in Education of the Catholic University of Santos, UniSantos. He has experience in Historiography and History of Education, with emphasis on subjects like: intellectuals, educational institutions, educational and teaching press, and development of the social being, among others. He is a researcher in: LIAME, Laboratory of Information, Archive and Memory of Education; Cultural History and Teaching Knowledge: printings and cultural models.
