Interested in the study and knowledge of the social organization of gender, particularly in how it is expressed in social practices that generally place women in inequality compared to men. She has addressed knowledge and practices of sexuality among public university students and women's political participation in social movements. She currently investigates exacerbated gender violence, characterized as femicide, and its links with the representation of space and the capitalist mode of production; the practices and processes of shaping gender identity among men; and the sound image and collective memory as an expression of gender communicative practices. He is a full-time professor-researcher at the Faculty of Communication Sciences (FCCom-BUAP). He is a doctor and master in Anthropology (UNAM), and has a degree in Social Anthropology (BUAP).
