Maria de Fátima Barbosa Abdalla – Teaching Degree in Literature (USP), Music (UFRJ) and Pedagogy. Specialization in Communication/New York University. Master and Doctor in Education (USP – University of São Paulo) and Postdoc in Educational Psychology (PUC/SP – Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo). Professor for the Graduate Program in Education at the Catholic University of Santos (UNISANTOS) and leader of the “Educational Institutions, Policies and Teaching Practices” CNPq Research Group. Member of ANFOPE, ANPAE and ANPEd, and a member of the scientific committee (WG-4) – Teaching topics, SBPC, CEDES, Latin American Studies Association (LASA), Red Educativa Mundial (REDEM), and the International Network for Research on Teacher Training (RIIFOPE). Member of the São Paulo State Forum. OREALC-UNESCO collaborator and researcher for the International Center of Studies on Social Representations and Subjectivity-Education/CIERS-ed/FCC, UNESCO Chair on the Professional Training of Teachers. She has experience in Education, working on the following topics: education, teacher education and professional training, educational policies, inclusion pedagogies, representations, and teaching practices.
