Bachelor in Sociology from the Universidad del Rosario (Colombia). Meritorious mention for her degree work entitled “Íntimamente distantes: diferencia social en las intimidades del servicio doméstico” [“Intimately distanced: Social difference in the intimacies of domestic service”], from which this book is derived. She served as a research assistant at the Center for Research and Popular Education/Peace Program (CINEP/PPP) as well as at the Universidad del Rosario, in the Research Group on Human Rights and Workplace Harassment, and in the Research Group on the Pedagogy of Writing. She also worked as an assistant in the drafting of the document for the PhD in Social Sciences, as well as in processes of bibliographic research and correction of auxiliary texts at the same university.
