María Fernanda Ugalde: Master’s degree in Ancient Americanistics from the Freie Universität, Berlin, Germany (2014). PhD in Ancient Americanistics from the Freie Universität, Berlin, Germany (2007). Since 2009, she has been an archeology professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Ecuador. Since 2015 she has served as Director of the School of Anthropology.
