Degree in Sociology from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana; Master’s degree in Regional Studies from Instituto de Investigaciones José María Luis Mora; and Doctor in Sociology from the Universidad Complutense. Honorable mention in the Master’s degree review, the thesis was directed by Dr. Andrés Fábregas Puig. PhD thesis was evaluated and accepted for publication by Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas in 2015. The book has been presented in the following forums: International Book Fair of Guadalajara 2016, 5th International Book Fair Chiapas-Central America, School of Humanities – UNACH in 2017, 2nd Emerging Realities Forum in Chiapas in 2017 and in, Emerging issues in the literature on Chiapas and Central America in 2017. She belongs to the Researchers System of Chiapas. Speaker in national and international conferences. She has published book chapters and academic articles. Full time professor, Titular "B" in School of Humanities of the Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas since 1996.
