Born in Veracruz and grew up in Tabasco, where the greenery inspired her to study biology. She began her teaching career in Chiapas, but unable to confine herself to the classroom, she reached out teaching methods to reconnect with nature. She joined the School Gardens Network in 2010 and since then, she has been sharing this way of learning with her colleagues and students.
