Miguel Aparicio

Professor of Anthropology at the Federal University of the Western Pará in Santarém (Brazil); researcher at the Symmetrical Anthropology Lab at the National Museum (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), where he is completing his doctoral studies. He develops an ethnographic work with the Suruwaha and Banawá indigenous people, in western Amazonia. Author of “Presas del veneno. Cosmopolítica y transformaciones Suruwaha” (2015), co-edited “Redes Arawa. Ensaios de etnologia do Médio Purus” (2016) and “Etnografías del suicidio en América del Sur” (2017).
