She has a degree in economics from the Universidad de São Paulo (USP), with a master's degree in Latin American Integration from the Programa de Posgrado en Integración de América Latina from the same institution (PROLAM-USP) and Phd in Latin American Studies from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She´s currently a full-Time researcher at the Unidad de Economía Fiscal y Financiera of the IIEc-UNAM. She´s member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, level I. She received the Reconocimiento Distinción Universidad Nacional para Jóvenes Académicos (RDUNJA) in the investigation area of economic-administrative sciences, 2019.
