Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP) and a researcher at the Center for Sustainable Development (CDS) in the Universisity of Brasília (UnB). She was director of Research and Dissemination of the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama), as well as director of Environmental Education at the Secretariat of Environment, Science, and Technology (Sematec) of the Federal District of Brazil.
